Overview

'EV Barrier System Control' provides local control of automatic or remotely controlled gates and other barrier systems from an emergency vehicle. Using this capability, emergency personnel can open and close barriers without leaving the vehicle, using V2I Communications to control the barriers.

01	The emergency vehicle shall remotely control barrier systems. Barrier systems include automated or remotely controlled gates, barriers and other systems that manage entry to roadways.
02	The emergency vehicle shall collect barrier system operational status.
03	The emergency vehicle shall collect barrier system fault data.
