Overview

The 'Shelter Provider Center' provides information about the shelters that open with the threat of a disaster and are operated and maintained until the threat has passed. It may represent individual shelters if they have the capability to provide current information directly to ITS or it may represent a center operated by a managing organization such as the American Red Cross that operates the shelters and collects and provides aggregate shelter information for a region.
