3.7: Monitor Vehicle Onboard Diagnostics

This process shall monitor on-board sensors via Process Vehicle On-Board Data function. This process shall run integrated self test software that monitors the condition of each of the vehicle systems and diagnostics that can be used to support vehicle maintenance. This process shall report the status of the vehicle and ancillary equipment and diagnostic information to the driver. This process shall send diagnostic information to the Manage Onboard Systems function in order to update the service center. This process shall report the status of the vehicle and ancillary equipment and diagnostic information to the appropriate connected vehicle service monitoring system, through the Manage Secure Transportation Infrastructure function.
